Luria-Bertani (LB) Agar Plates, w/ Carbenicillin-100

Luria-Bertani (LB) Agar Plates are prepared on standard 100x15 mm Petri dishes. The LB Agar formulation is the most popular choice for bacterial cell culture. These plates contain 100 µg/mL of Carbenicillin Disodium Salt to isolate Carbenicillin-resistant strains. These colonies are then used to produce recombinant proteins. Luria-Bertani is most commonly used to culture E.coli.
